MEET UP MORNINGS NEAR FORT AND COOK, selling lots of good items at fair and firm prices, click on my photo for listings. First photo is illustration only, a random internet photo! It is Australian wool filled, but the labels have been removed. Family member who doesn’t like labels! Very little use on a guest bed and in excellent condition. No stains or rips or smells. Like new! It was very clean but I have freshly laundered and air dried it. I have a fancy washer with a wool setting as wool must not be agitated or spun in a washer as it stretches the wool fibres, and must be washed in cold water and air dried. The wool setting kind of flops it around to clean and gets the water out somehow with a very low short spin at the end. It has a cotton casing and measures 89” x 90” and weighs 6 pounds. Nice winter weight. It takes about 2 days to dry and smells like what it is during that time, wet wool! But it would rarely need washing if kept in a duvet cover. See photo about care. Note that every manufacturer makes the dimensions slightly different within a king, Queen, double etc. it can vary up to about 5”. That is true for duvet covers as well. The only thing consistently the same is the width of the mattress! Non smoking non pet single adult home. These sell new anywhere up to $500. A Queen mattress is 60” wide so it would hang down about 15” on either side. On a double bed it would hang down another 6” “Wool is naturally dust mite resistant and is temperature regulating, making it the best choice for a duvet. Wool has the ability to absorb 1/3 of its weight in moisture, creating a microclimate which assists in regulating body temperature and humidity. This relieves the body of thermal stress and promotes a deeper, more refreshing sleep”.
