Here is an exact replica of a WW2 German Fighter Pilot's Flying Jacket. This jacket was made by the same company that made the original jacket, from designs and plans that still exist from over 80 years earlier. It is so exact, that the leather they use is purchased from the same wholesaler in Germany as back then. The company in Ulm is the largest and most well known manufacturers of leather clothing in Germany. They began reproducing these replicas in 2011. I purchased the jacket just over 2 years ago and have only worn it twice. It is extremely well insulated and very warm. Unfortunately, in the past year I have gained a considerable amount of weight; meaning the jacket does not now and likely will never fit again. The size indicated is 6XL, which translates into 54"' for the chest measurement, and 49.5" at the waist. In the back, from the centre of the bottom of the collar to the bottom edge hem is 29.5" The sleeves, from where the sleeve joins the jacket to the outer hem on the cuff is 27.25". All measurements are taken from the outside of the jacket. It has 2 zippered breast pockets, 2 lower pockets on each side, a small zippered pen pocket on the inside of the left front, a larger note/wallet pocket on the inside left breast, zippered and snapped cuffs, a positional buckle at each side of the waist and a buckle with a snap front at the bottom of the zipper. And because these jackets are serialized, this one is # 0441. I paid $630. for this and only wore it twice in two years. The photos are stock photos from the manufacturers website, because they are infinitely better than any my cel phone could take.
