Customer Service Sales

Location: 3217 Small Rd, Courtenay, BC V9N 3Z8 Slegg is Vancouver Island's choice for building materials and home improvement products. Our team is made up of dedicated and hardworking individuals who together create a rewarding and welcoming work environment. Our Cumberland location is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Customer Service Sales. The Customer service professional develops and maintains positive working relationships customers who visit and call the branch. Together with other team members, the Inside Sales professional delivers excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Greet and assist customers with purchases, provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials * General housekeeping duties and general stocking of merchandise as required * Specific ownership and accountability for a designated store section * Communicate with the shipping department to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met * Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers * Point of sale customer transactions * Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures * Other duties as assigned by management SKills and Qualifications * Minimum two years sales experience an asset * Building material and home improvement product knowledge * Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak in English * Strong computer skills * Customer-service focused * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation * Wages - competitive wages based on the market and experience * Benefits o Health benefits after 3 months including drug and dental coverage, practitioners, disability and life insurance o Retirement savings - RRSP or other * Perks - Company discounts (employee pricing, mobile phone plans, gym membership), recognition and training programs, opportunities for career advancement, group events and more If you feel Slegg is a good fit for your career goals and skillset, we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your application.
