We are currently seeking a qualified professional to join our Finance team as the Freshwater and Processing Management Accountant for maternity cover. Responsibilities: Timely and reliable management reporting Participating in the month end process Investigating variances against budget and analyzing differences Assisting management with cost control / decision support Supporting management with budgeting and forecasting Participating in Production / Processing meetings; visiting hatchery sites and our processing plants on a quarterly basis Adhoc tasks as required Internal control compliance The ideal candidate is a CPA, or is pursuing a professional accounting designation and has 5+ years relevant finance and accounting experience, working knowledge of financial ledger system as well as MS Excel. A team-orientation and continuous improvement focus also required. Familiarity with Lawson M3, Aquafinance, and Medius software will be an asset.
