Price reduced! This is a great little boat that needs a good home! This boat is a little bit of island history - a 24' Surfer built by the shipwright Russ Tinkler, at Surfer Marine Limited out of Comox B.C. in 1979. This model is a deep-V boat, with hand laid-up heavy fibreglass. There were a couple variants of the model - among them a cabin cruiser and a crew boat made for Macmillan Bloedel crews working on Vancouver Island. People who know them love them - they are tough little commuter boats ideal for crossing Johnstone Strait or making jumps between the islands. Specs for this boat are: * recently factory rebuilt 350 chev engine * 280 Volvo-Penta leg * 3000 Watt inverter * hot water cabin heater * depth sounder * GPS with hook up to laptop (not included) * 2 element propane galley stove * stand up head * v-berth * dual batteries and switches New stuff added in the past two years - marine radio, head, bilge pump, batteries, starter, fuel pump, raw water pump, and steering pump. The boat is trailerable (requires dual wheels), but does not come with a trailer. Also included in the package is a complete spare set of new replacement windows.
