Adopt Penny - 3 yo Mix Breed (Lab X) cutie

penny is available to adopt in vancouver/vancouver island! Penny is like the cool aunt in a tv show - beautiful, sweet, everyone loves her, but she has had some things happen which have caused her to have some baggage.Originally this gal is from Saskatchewan and she had a hard start to her life - she has a permanent scar around her neck, we aren’t entirely sure the cause but something that was used as a ‘collar’ did it. Despite what humans have done to her in the past she will warm up to you quickly and once she fully trusts you she will want lots of snuggles.Penny has lived with other big dogs, she is a very calm energy when playing and often intervenes if she feels another dog is being picked on. Our girl could live with small dogs, but would need longer introduction times to make sure she is comfortable. When settled she can be left alone for short period of times and we would assist her adopter in building on her training here. Penny is on epilepsy medication, which will be a necessity for the rest of her life. Her seizures are now safe and under control on this medication and she is thriving!
