$1,234 · Courtenay+ - looking for some RURAL land to RENT to put a tiny home on

Hi folks of CV! I am wanting to move from Victoria to the CV, and rent some land on someone's property that I can put a tiny-ish home on! Hydro and water source required, but will have composting toilet and grey water management, so sewer not required. Looking for some space on a bit of rural property with trees, so my doggies and I can love the land and get away from the bustle of a city. Timeline unknown, dependent on when I can find a patch to call my own. I am an independent, responsible, got-my-shit-together, kind and peaceful loving mid-50's gal that wants to connect with nature, and be close to my tribe in the Courtenay area. Not sure how to navigate this, as I can't seem to find 'land for rent' anywhere! Don't want to purchase property just yet.
