Initial training sessions and maintenance/calibration by professionals at Island Mediquip represent the only use of this chair. A strap was added by Island Mediquip to facilitate raising and lowering the footrest. Gears have been calibrated for the specific needs of the owner. Original owner has a degenerative neurological disease. The chair was purchased for future use in long term care, however they are no longer mobile enough to use the chair. If you are a local buyer, there is a taxi service that can transport a power wheelchair to a local address for a reasonable fee. Chair is being sold by owner’s family.
