Responsibilities: * Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program * Train, motivate and mentor employees * Supervise organize and direct crews and equipment * Work under pressure and deadlines * Daily site paperwork, timesheets, * Organize and manage trucking and sub trades on site * Interface with the client and other contractors on site * Help solve issues as they arise * Learn various survey instruments such as levels, grade lasers, and GPS systems Requirements: * Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings * In-depth knowledge of civil construction procedures, equipment and OH&S guidelines * 3+ years’ experience in civil construction * Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and supervisory skills * Positive attitude and works well with others * Professional demeanour when dealing with the public * Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year * Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more Assets: * Recent working experience in similar role * 5 years+ experience * First aid training * Knowledge of MMCD specificationsThis position is compensated at an hourly rate. Employees are eligible for enrollment in our company benefits package following successful completion of a three month probationary period.
