Position: CO-MANAGER OF INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF The Manager(s) of Instructional Staff coordinates and mentors instructional staff to ensure quality program delivery and to create exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities – completed in collaboration with Managers within the Program Team * Recruit, select and hire instructional staff * Design and deliver instructor training for SPL programs * Supervise instructional staff; providing feedback, coaching and mentoring * Build a cohesive, skilled and resilient instructional team * Conduct meetings with instructors and clients * Represent instructional staff in management meetings and on professional and community issues * Develop educational program curriculum for the range of SPL clients * Maintain safety standards for all SPL programs; risk assessment and prevention * Field work, including instructing, guiding, training and mentoring * Other related duties as required Qualifications/Competencies * Current 80+ hour Wilderness First Aid certificate * CPR C (mandatory minimum, must be current for the duration of employment) * Class 4 (Unrestricted) driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract * Certification or diploma/degree in a related discipline * At least two years outdoor education and/or teaching experience * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace programs, and email and internet applications * Problem solving, multi-tasking, team building, ethics * Fluency in French is an asset Terms & Conditions * Successful completion of criminal record check and legal entitlement to work in Canada. * Living on-site is required. * Full season availabilityPlease send your cover letter and resume to - work@strathconaparklodge.com Company: Strathcona Park Lodge & Outdoor Education Centre & Lodge Salary: $1980 – $2140 biweekly Contract: SEASONAL
